Boog Brown – Brown Study Remixes!!

This is the Album Cover Illustration and Graphic Design for “Boog Brown: Brown Study Remixes”. A friend of mine as well as the Label owner of MelloMusicGroup released the original album earlier in the year and it was more photo styled than illustration. I did some illustration work for him before and he wanted to go in a different direction for the remix so he shot the opportunity to me. A pic was already chosen which happen to be taken by another good friend of mine by the name Brandi Pettijohn. So it was an all around collab.

The look on Boog’s face says enough so it was just about the style I wanted to use. Outside of the detail in her face, I let the shapes speak to what the entire image would be if i used lines all the way through.  Very loose and colorful which adds to the new landscape these songs were being placed on. Very well accepted and it gave the album a new life which helped the already established success that the original project created.
