Love Taps – Book Cover

This is a book cover design for my peoples JoVonna Rodriguez. This time it is for a Collaborative effort from her and her other half, Jerome Dickens. Both are extremely talented writers and this book is incredible! here is a likkle background on what it is about, ” Love Taps explores communication, honesty, and love on paper. These are moments when one opens up to their partner, allowing time to build a foundation, and navigate life together. As a Mynes butterfly evolves and transcends life cycles, so does the romance between two individuals”.

It’s a journey of their relationship and how it developed from an online meet to a living love over the course of a year. It includes emails, letters, texts… you name it. Reminds me of those honest and innocent loves a lot of people forgot to have. So I wanted to play off of that feeling. It’s a dance of getting to know one another intimately while expressing care, attraction and honesty. In my opinion… there was no better way to express that. The design was inspired by the new direction the “Lyric Jones” project took me. This is the result. Great marketing as well because the book it dropped Valentines day. FOOSHHHHH!
