Tori Alamaze

Tori Alamaze is one of those artists that has affected your life and you was just too caught up to realize how good it felt to you. HAA. She has been putting it down for years. Best known as a backing vocalist to OutKast and original recorder/co-writer of the song ‘Don’t Cha’ (made famous by the Pussycat Dolls), Tori branded her unique style.

I met her through a mutual friend and again, she was someone looking for a logo/caricature of herself to be created. Almost like a black version of Betty Boop. Of course I can do that so after receiving the pictures… I got busy.

There were certain accents that had to be included. The one glove, the ring, the one earring and the hair bow. These were all detrimental to her style and branding. She kinda left everything else to me but she had a clear vision of what she wanted. I worked my magic and the result was this clean, cute and sexy piece here.
